Investigation underway after two boat fires at Portsmouth marina

A series of boat fires is under investigation in Portsmouth. Fire Departments from around the Aquidneck Island area responded to Pirates Cove Marina Wednesday night after a report of two boats on fire.

There was no one on board the boats at the time and no reports of any injuries. At least four area fire departments were on scene trying to prevent the fire from spreading to surrounding boats.
