Providence Police say Sandi Fahnbulleh, age 38, was standing on the porch at 112 Academy Ave. when he was shot once in the side of the chest. He managed to make it inside the landing of the first floor hallway where he collapsed.
When police arrived around 7:50 PM last night and had him transported to RI Hospital, but where he was pronounced dead a short time after.
This marks the 17th homicide in Providence this year. Providence Police are still investigating the crime. More information will be made available as it is provided.
