Several districts announce school closures ahead of Sandy

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Several school districts in Rhode Island including Providence, Cranston, South Kingstown, and Coventry have announced closures in preparation for Hurricane Sandy.

The list, maintained by the Rhode Island Broadcasters Association, has grown by several districts since Sunday morning.
