Sandy is now a post-tropical system. While the worst of the effects felt here in Southern New England are over, we may still see some lingering effects of what's left of Sandy today. A wind advisory is in effect through this afternoon with some gusts possibly up to 40mph, but that will gradually diminish as the day goes on. A coastal flood warning is also in effect through this afternoon. The possibility for some minor coastal flooding is with us with this mornings high tide which will occur shortly after 8:30AM.
