The owners of Frog and Toad on Hope Street have parked a huge U-Haul in front of their business to attract attention for donations. Once the truck is full, they're going to drive it themselves to Rockaway, New York. Asher and Erin Schofield started the effort on Monday, after seeing pictures of the destruction Sandy left behind in New York and New Jersey.
"Erin just couldn't sleep anymore, so we got up Monday morning and we started making a plan," said Asher.
The Schofields plan is to fill up the truck with as much water, food, and supplies as it can hold and drive it themselves to Rockaway, New York.
The U-Haul will be parked on Hope Street accepting donations until 6 PM Friday.
