Driver killed in Bourne crash - ABC6 - Providence, RI and New Bedford, MA News, Weather

At about 9:20am Bourne Police responded to Macarthur Boulevard near Jonathan Bourne drive to the scene of a fatal car accident.

Police say a 1997 Red VW Golf operated by a 25 year old male Rhode Islander hydroplaned and struck a utility pole on the drivers side. He was declared dead on the scene.

Mass State Police responded to assist and NStar responded to repair the utility pole.

The operator's name is being witheld until his family is notified.
