Warwick police investigate suspicious house fire, body found inside

Warwick police are investigating a house fire that broke out this morning on Greylawn Avenue. The fire was put out quickly, however, a body was found inside.

Police on scene tell ABC 6 News the homeowner was being served an eviction notice this morning. Neighbors report hearing two gun shots just before smoke started coming from the house.

Arson investigators as well as the bomb squad were called to the scene to investigate.
