Polk County Police in Florida have now filed a total of 75 charges against Acushnet hockey coach Anthony DeSilva.
The new charges brought up yesterday were in addition to charges filed on Friday when he faced 10 counts of use of computer and 1 count of transmission of harmful material.
Of the 64 additional charges brought against him on Tuesday: 57 counts of misuse of a two-way device, 3 counts of use of computer/misrepresenting age, 2 counts of traveling to meet a minor and 2 counts of encouraging a child in sexual performance.
All of the charges were related to to his texting and online conversations with an undercover Polk County Sherriff's detective posing as 16 year old boys. There are no "new" or additional victims from Polk County. If any more victims come forward, it will be investigated; if any victims come forward from other states, the agency who governs those jurisdictions will investigate.
Desilva's total bond was set to $182,000.
