Big Crowds, Beautiful Weather for Thanksgiving Rivalries

Thanksgiving Day was filled with great high school rivalries all across Southeastern New England.

We have highlights of the following games...

LaSalle beats East Providence, 34-0.

Cranston East nailed down the #3 playoff seed by beating rival West, 27 to 6.

Portsmouth downed Middletown, 36 to 7.

Barrington holds off Mt. Hope, 25 to 20.

Unbeaten Cumberland defeated Woonsocket 32 to 0.

West Warwick downed Coventry, 28 to 8.

East Greenwich won at Narragansett, 24 to 14.

Westerly falls to Stonington, 34 to 32.

North Kingstown beats rival South Kingstown, 20 to 16.

Rogers beat Tiverton 38 to 13.  (The final games for 80 year old referee Dominic Ianozzi who has been wearing the white hat for 50 years, and fellow official Charlie Lehourites who has been calling games for 45 years.)
