25,000 Rhode Island kids will have a new gift Christmas morning thanks to Hasbro. On Tuesday, Hasbro volunteers organized the thousands of toys to be delivered next week to various community associations state-wide.
Maggie Casey, Hasbro Community Relations Manager explains, "the volunteers essentially have a shopping list that they are picking the appropriate quantity and items for each of these family agencies that will receive these Hasbro toys and games."
All of the favorites like My Little Pony, Mr. Potato Head and Transformers were included in the mix.
In addition to the 25,000 toys for kids here in Rhode Island, Hasbro is expected to give over 400,000 toys and games to kids world wide this holiday season.
