NORTH SMITHFIELD, R.I. - One woman is in stable condition after being seriously injured in a car crash late Friday night.
Police say around 11:55 p.m. Friday, they responded to a rollover crash near the Slatersville exit on Route 146 southbound in North Smithfield. The driver, identified as Jessica Marquez of Providence, R.I., was taken to Rhode Island Hospital with serious injuries.
A second vehicle was also involved in the crash, according to police. Javier Jaramillo, of Central Falls, R.I., was uninjured in the crash.
Police did not say what led up to the crash.
