A young guy from Attleboro, who made on-line threats against Attleboro high school and its staff, now wishes he could take it all back.
21-year-old Ryan Ringuette says he regrets making a Columbine-style threat in a facebook message with his friend Nick Sands.Ryan says, I made some stupid decisions on facebook that just pretty much ruined my life and sent me down the wrong path.Ryan made threats over facebook and those threats, landed him and his friend in jail. as he plead guilty, the Attleboro judge reminded him that he was pleading out,3 days after the shooting rampage in Connecticut..Ryan says the killings deeply affected him.He says"I was devastated, I felt so bad for everybody,I look back on mine,I can't believe what I said I would never do anything to hurt anybody." Ryan has apologized to everyone. Ryan faced harsher penalties, but the charges were reduced after an extensive plea bargain negotiations by his lawyer. Ryan received a 6 month suspended jail sentence. His probation requires that he stay off the Internet, any social networking sites and away from his former high school.
