Merry Christmas! With this Christmas snowfall, state emergency officials are reminding holiday travelers to allow some extra time to get where you're going.

Crews in the region have been sanding roads for your Christmas commute, but Rhode Island Emergency Management advises you to be prepared with an emergency kit that includes blankets, extra gloves, and hats. Also, don't forget the scraper!
