$10,000 lottery ticket on Christmas day

COVENTRY, R.I. - One Rhode Islander is $10,000 richer after drawing a winning Mega Millions® ticket on Christmas day.

According to Rhode Island Lottery, the ticket matched four numbers and the Mega Ball number, eliciting a $10,000 win.

The winning ticket was sold at a Cumberland Farms at 785 Tiogue Avenue in Coventry, according to Rhode Island Lottery. The winner has not yet come forward.
