Geese and their droppings have been a constant nuisance for Lincoln High School.
It sounds funny but for students and staff at the high school the constant geese droppings in the athletic fields have become quite the messy situation and now the school has introduced a solution that seems to be working.
The school recently installed wooden spikes with aluminum tape on the top in an effort to ward off any visiting geese. The idea is the sound made by the aluminum in the wind will frighten off the birds.
In the past the school has tried using wooden coyotes to scare the gaggle of geese but the coyotes had to be moved every few days to be effective.
