RI woman cast in new season of ABC's 'The Bachelor'

A Rhode Island woman will be a contestant on ABC's "The Bachelor," premiering Monday evening at 8 p.m.

Lauren Marchetti, formerly of GoLocalProv TV will be one of thirty contestants to appear on the season premiere.

Aside from a stint in Rhode Island media, Marchetti was also a Patriots cheerleader.

Marchetti graduated from Cranston High School West and she received her bachelor's degree from the University of Rhode Island in 2007.
