Police are searching for three suspects who broke into a 21-year-old Providence woman's apartment, tied her up and stole her electronics.
The woman was in her kitchen of her apartment at 46 Pembroke Ave. when she heard a noise at the door. The noise prompted the woman to open the door and that is when the suspects, described as three Hispanic males burst into the apartment. Upon entering the woman's residence, which is nearby to Providence College, the men bound her wrists and put a bag over her head. The men rummaged through the woman's apartment for close to a half hour before leaving.
A neighbor, who was taking out the trash, was alerted when the woman banging on her window for help. The neighbor assisted the woman and the police were called to the scene.
The victim was not seriously injured and the suspects remain at large.
