The Patriots prevailed over the Texans this weekend and will now face off in the AFC Championship game on Sunday against the Ravens, and one local company has big stakes in the outcome.
Cool Air Creations in Smithfield has consistently been the company tasked with printing the official AFC Championship shirts when the Patriots have made it to the final game before the Super Bowl and this year is no exception. As Pats' fans are rejoicing Cool Air Creations is getting down to business.
According to David Campbell, the owner of Cool Air Creations, prior to the AFC championship game the company prints just under 200 tee-shirts to be distributed on the field if the team wins. In addition the company needs to be prepared to begin to print close to 20,000 of the AFC shirts first thing in the morning if the Patriots win the AFC championship game.
"We look forward to this every year," said Campbell. Campbell said even more exciting than the AFC shirts is the Super Bowl championship shirts which the company also has the privilege to print. If the Patriots make it to the big game Cool Air creations will have to be prepared to print the Super Bowl shirts immediately following the game.
