Facebook has launched a new feature that will allow users to search their social network for information about people.
The new graph feature will allow users to search friends and others based on their locations and their interests.
For example users can search their friends for "movies my friends like" and the findings will be ranked according to "people you care most about." The information can also be filtered in several other ways including by location.
The new feature will work in sync with privacy settings and users will only be able to search for content that is shared with them.
