Woonsocket Police are looking for a suspect involved in a weekend dispute in which shots were fired.

At approximately 3:43 P.M. police responded to a motor vehicle accident near River St. and Fairmount St. They arrived to find a white 1999 Honda that had collided with a telephone pole. They also noticed two bullet holes in the vehicle.

Upon investigation police discovered that the suspect, Anthony LaCoste, has gotten into a dispute with James Lambert Jr. and Christopher Lambert at Executive Car Wash on Privilege St.

The men engaged in a verbal dispute then left the carwash. At this point it is alleged that LaCoste pulled out a handgun and shot at the vehicle driven by James Lambert Jr. The gunshots caused Lambert to strike a telephone pole. Christopher Lambert then chased LaCoste in his own vehicle which resulted in a motor vehicle accident.

No one was injured in the incident.

The Woonsocket Police say LaCoste is now wanted on several felony charges and urge anyone with any information to call the police at 401.766.1212 or leave an anonymous tip at 401.769.4444.
