Former Rhode Island Representative Bob Watson won't stand trial in Connecticut for drunk driving. Prosecutors will not be pursuing the DUI case because police didn't give Watson a urine test within the time required by law.
A judge also dismissed a marijuana possession charge against him, because Watson went into rehab. When Watson was arrested last year at a sobriety checkpoint, prosecutors say, he was drunk and tested positive for pot and cocaine.
