A woman involved in an April 2011 hit-and-run accident that left two Brown University students injured has been sentenced to three years of home confinement with work release.
32-year-old Jessica Paden was sentenced for leaving the scene of an accident resulting in serious bodily injury, drunk driving resulting in serious bodily injury, and driving to endanger resulting serious bodily injury.
In April 2011 Juliana Unanue of Puerto Rico and Amanda Chew of Singapore were struck by Paden on the corner of Hope and Charlesfield streets.
