The entire state of Rhode Island and Southeastern Massachusetts are now under a blizzard warning.
The snow will begin light, arriving tomorrow between 7 and 10 a.m. It will gain momentum and become heavier between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m.
In to the evening snow is expected to get heavier dropping between 1 and 3 inches and hour from 7 p.m. into Saturday mid day.
In total the area is expected to receive between 18 to 24 inches of snow.
Winds are expected to be between 20 and 40 mph with gusts reaching up to 60 mph late Friday night, into Saturday morning.
Considerable blowing and drifting is expected to continue through Saturday and into the evening.
