The congressman and his staff delivered over 6,500 valentine greetings prepared by Rhode Island students.
On Monday morning he delivered the Valentines Day cheer to veterans at the VA medical center in Providence.
"All of us owe a tremendous debt of gratitude and real appreciation to the brave men and women who have worn the uniform of the United States Armed Forces," said Cicilline. "This year's effort received overwhelming support from school administrators, teachers, and students in cities and towns across Rhode Island."
