Fall River police seized over $21,000 dollars and more than 9 and a half pounds of marijuana during a Monday drug bust.
Police executed a search warrant for 64 Magellan St. and found the homeowner Pedro Albergaria,51, in possession of 9 and a half pounds of marijuana.
During the search of the property, police also found 61-year-old Joseph Northrup hiding inside a basement bulkhead doorway. On his person he had 1.4 ounces of marijuana.
Both men were arrested. Albergaria is charged with possession with intent to distribute and conspiracy to violate drug laws. Northrup is charged with possession of a Class D substance.
