The Who returned to Providence on Tuesday night for the first time since 1979.
That 1979 concert was canceled because of safety concerns by former Mayor and ABC6 Political Analyst Buddy Cianci, after 11-fans were trampled at a concert in Cincinnati.
Most ticket holders simply got a refund, but those who held on to the tickets were able to trade them in, for a chance to see The Who.
In total 32-tickets were handed over, a trade that most 1979 ticket holders were happy to make.
"I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd be able to use these tickets again. I'm in the 3rd row, I'm elated and I can't wait to see the concert." said Karen Charatte from Fall River.
