Classical Boys Win Thriller, LaSalle Girls Win D-1 Three-peat

Classical and North Kingstown played a thriller in the Boys State Open Championship game at the Ryan Center Sunday. The Purple held off the Skippers, 57 to 52 to win the title.

Three girls titles were decided on Championship Sunday. In Division 1, LaSalle made it a three-peat by beating Barrington, 62 to 29.

Narragansett made it back to back titles in Division II, beating Prout, 56 to 42.

In Division III, Juanita Sanchez made it back to back championships by beating Middletown, 43 to 36.
