PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Brown students and relatives of Sunil Tripathi are taking matters into their own hands.

Judy Tripathi, her husband and daughter are working with police and the FBI, trying to locate Sunil, who was last seen March the 15th at his apartment on the corner of Brook and Angell street.

Tripathi's mother Judy says "everybody that had contact with him Friday did not find anything out of the ordinary, he has been struggling with some depression and trying to find himself".

His sister Sangeeta says,"her brother is a very talented and loving brother, they talked and text every single day".

Tripathi's father says, "I appreciate all of you , and your support , your prayers for us and prayers for his well being."

The Tripathi family is asking that anyone who may have any information about Sunil's whereabouts to call the Providence Police Department and ask for Detective Mark Sacco.
