Congressional Delegation hosts gun violence round table

The Rhode Island Congressional Delegation will hold a round table discussion to discuss gun violence Tuesday afternoon.

National gun violence legislation is being debated in the Senate and Senators Jack Reed and Sheldon Whitehouse will give an update on the status id the legislation.

Congressmen Jim Langevin and David Cicilline will also attend to voice their support of the gun legislation. Also in  attendance will be Providence Mayor Angel Taveras, Central Falls Mayor James Diossa, North Providence Mayor Charles Lombardi, Providence Public Safety Commissioner Steven Pare, President of the RI Chiefs association Chief John Desmarais, Teny Gross from the institute of nonviolence and family members of gun violence victims.
