Louisville is celebrating this Morning as the new NCAA champions. When the buzzer sounded, the team rushed to center court at the Georgia Dome. Kevin Ware cut the net, fireworks exploded, and confetti fell to the floor.

The celebrations lasting well into the Morning. Police in Louisville are using tear gas and an armored carrier to disperse the crowd. More than 5,000 people were estimated to be packed into Cardinal Boulevard. Police arrested 10 people on drunk and disorderly conduct. Several people were injured.

The Cardinals' victory over Michigan came after a crucial play in the final seconds of the game. Louisville trailed by 12 early on, but turned up the pressure on defense, kept up their shooting on offense, and made enough free throws down the stretch to put away the Wolverines.

Louisville won 82–to–75. It's been quite the week for Cardinals Coach and former PC Coach Rick Pitino. Pintino became the first to win titles at two different schools, he was elected to the hall of fame, and his horse is headed to the Kentucky Derby.
