The iconic professional ballroom dance instructor who's story swept the nation when she vowed to "dance again" after losing her foot in the Boston marathon bombing will appear on ABC's Dancing with the Stars.

Adrianne Haslet-Davis lost her foot after a bomb exploded near the finish line at the Boston Marathon. She says not only does she plan to dance again but she plans to run the marathon- next year.

Host Tom Bergeron announced on Tuesday that the show will introduce viewers to Haslet-Davis on next week's program.

Haslet-Davis has been extremely positive about her injury telling the Boston Herald, "Dancing is my life. Yeah, having my foot blown off, that really sucks. But I can't wallow in woe is me."

Dancing with the Stars airs on Monday and Tuesday on ABC6.
