Segway Tours come to Providence

A student at Johnson & Wales University is launching Providence's first segway tour service on Friday morning.

The service will feature six segways that will operate six days a week leaving from Kennedy Plaza. The ride though the streets of downtown Providence will take residents and visitors on a narrated history tour of the city.

Providence Segway Tours is owned and operated by Andrew Rogers a sophomore at the Johnson and Wales Hospitality College. Rogers is being assisted by the entrepreneurship center on campus.
