CF city hall evacuated after bomb threat

Central Falls city hall was evacuated on Friday after a three bomb threats were called into the polic station. Colonel James Mendonca tells ABC 6 that a male made the calls at 10 am prompting an immediate evacuation at City Hall. Mendonca says the caller only said "there's was a bomb at City Hall."

State Police and the Bomb Squad responded to City Hall and combed through the area. Fours blocks on Broad Street were cordoned off while the investigation took place.

After Bomb Dogs sniffed the perimeter, the all clear was given at around 12:15 Friday Afternoon.

Mayor James Diossa said the threat was only on city hall and that the immediate response is always necessary to be sure everyone is safe.
