A man being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon Bombings was shot and killed in Florida by an FBI agent.

Sources say he flipped out just before he was about to give crucial information about a triple murder in Massachusetts. Those sources tell us Ibrahim Todashev pulled a knife and stabbed an FBI agent several times during questioning before the agent fought back and shot him.

Like Tamerlan Tsarnaev Todashev was skilled as a fighter.

"He was kind of unorthodox his style, but he was a tough kid. We fought three rounds and then I beat him in the third round," said MMA fighter Jimmy Davidson From the Cape.

He remembers his fight with Todashev, back in 2009, like it was yesterday.

"This was my fourth amateur fight at the time," said Davidson who became suspicious of Todashev as soon as he heard the Boston Bombing suspects names, Jahar and Tamerlan Tsarnaev.

"I knew that this guy trained at the same gym as the other guys, and I knew he was from the same country," said Davidson.

The FBI also became suspicious of Todashev who at some point went to a gym in Alston with Tsarnaev. Authorities questioning Todashev at his home in Orlando for the past week, until police say he went berserk, stabbing an agent several times. That agent ended up firing his gun and killing Todashev.

"I couldn't believe it when I first heard it," said Davidson, "I had to look at his face and look at the article a few times before it really processed."

The FBI was apparently questioning Todashev about an unsolved triple murder in Waltham, Massachusetts in 2011, and he was about to sign a confession when things went bad. His friends were not surprised.

"We had a feeling, worst case scenario, that something like that is going to happen and it happened eventually," said friend

"We had a feeling, worst case scenario, that something like that is going to happen and it happened eventually," said friend Khusen Taramov, "We tried to avoid it."

Just a few weeks ago, Todashev was arrested in Florida accused of beating up a man and his son.

Tamerlan Tsarnaev has also been linked to that triple murder in Waltham.
