The flooding rains have turned Airport Road in Warwick into a river. Commuters were slowed to a crawl as they splashed their way to work on Tuesday morning.

The month of June is on it's way to being one of the wettest on record. According to Stormtracker Meteorologist Chelsea Priest, June has already seen 6.97 inches of rainfall. On average, June only picks up 3.64 inches of monthly rainfall.

Priest says the heavy rain has died down for the area, but another round of thunderstorms and heavy showers is possible this afternoon.
