Central Falls plans road paving project

Central Falls Mayor James Diossa announced that the City has partnered with the Pawtucket Water Supply Board to repave and repair sixteen streets. The street paving, part of the Pawtucket Water Supply Boards water pipe replacement program, is set to begin in September of this year and finish off during spring 2014.

The project will cost nearly half a million dollars, however Central Falls is only set to pay $90,000.

 

The streets will to be paved are as follows:

Bagley Street (from Wetmore St. to Lonsdale Ave.)

Clay Street (from Montgomery St. to Roosevelt Ave.)

Cottage Street (Hunt St. to Broad St.)

Crossman Street (Tiffany St. to Dexter St.)

Eastwood Street (Fales St. to Sacred Heart Ave.)

Elm Street (Cross St. to Central St.)

Fletcher Street (King St. to Cowden St.)

Hedley Ave (Dexter St. to Washington St.)

Illinois Ave (Hunt St. to Central St.)

Lewis Street (Cottage St. to Hunt St.)

Railroad Street (Cross St. to Foundry St.)

Rand Street (Pine St. to Illinois St.)

Sacred Heart Ave (Broad St. to Eastwood St.)

School Street (Dexter St. to Illinois St.)

Summer Street (Dexter St. to Illinois St.)

Sumner Street (Dexter St. to Illinois St.)
