Pack like a celebrity stylist

We're right in the thick of summer and that means barbecues, sunshine long into the evening, and best of all, getaways. It's that time of year where we dream of nothing more than jet-setting to Bali, escaping to a Hawaiian paradise or loading up the car and heading to the nearest seashore.
Vacations are a much-needed time away from the craziness of life. Especially, the styling life! We here at Ali Levine Design love a good escape, and being fashionistas, we bring along pieces for the perfect vacation wardrobe. Here’s what I’m definitely including in my getaway suitcase this season:
Printed and solid bikinis in halters and bandeaus are a must. To stay on trend and make a statement, I usually pack a monokini too -- a one-piece with large cutouts. Cork wedges and gladiator sandals are great options for both the beach and a gorgeous dinner overlooking the water. Yes, please!
The perfect hat
A vacation is not a vacation without the perfect poolside hat. You bet I bring a couple of wide-brim hats to wear with my swimsuits for lounging around and to pair with the perfect maxi dress -- which I also pack!
Fabulous wrap skirts
I also tote along some beautiful wrap skirts, mini and midi. These skirts can be topped with a simple tee or tank and still make a strong fashion statement.
A light sweater
Lastly, I always pack my essential light sweater in case it's chilly at night or the restaurant’s air conditioning is in the arctic zone. Wearing a sweater with a short skirt is a great way to stay warm and still look chic on summer nights!
