Originally a 12th-round selection of the Indians in the 1996 June Draft, McDonald has hit .235 (553-for-2,350) with 103 doubles, 14 triples, 28 home runs, and 205 RBI in 999 games for the Indians (1999-2004; 2013), Toronto Blue Jays (2005; 2006-11), Detroit Tigers (2005), Arizona Diamondbacks (2011-12), Pirates (2013), and Phillies (2013).

Ogando, a 24-year-old right-hander, spent the season with High-A Salem, the 2013 Southern Division Champions in the Carolina League. In 33 relief appearances this year, the native of Santo Domingo went 2-3 with three saves, a 4.09 ERA (25 ER/55.0 IP), and 44 strikeouts. Ogando was signed by the Red Sox as an international free agent on June 14, 2010.
