A Warwick boy is preparing to release his second book and he's only 9–years–old. His first book nearly sold out and the young author has a deal to write three more.
In a few months, Colin Naughton will release, "Not So Spooky Bedtime". Its part of a five-book series that helps kids face fears.
Colin said, "My favorite part about being an author is well, helping the kids because I'm a kid and I have fears like everybody has fears."
His first book, "Not So Spooky Halloween" was released last year and nearly sold out online.
This 4th grader's inspiration comes from his experiences.
"People who bought the book said to me, this is great; my six year old daughter loves it and she can relate to it. Things like that and then they'll have me to ask Colin to sign it," said Colin's dad, Bill Naughton.
Colin writes on his laptop every night. He's even working on his first novel about a superhero. For him anything is possible.
"I can do anything because I can write books and I'm writing a novel and I'm hoping my novel can be on the big screen," said Naughton.
Colin's royalty checks will be put into a college fund.
