Suspected wanted for Tiverton Bank Newport robbery

Tiverton Police are asking for the publics help locating a suspect identified as 22-year-old Daniel Fernades who is believed to have held up Bank Newport on Main Rd. in Tiverton on August 17.

Tiverton Police have issued a warrant for Fernades arrest.

Fernades allegedly handed the teller at the counter a note that claimed he had a gun and that he demanded money. 

The State of Connecticut is also after Fernades for violating his parole for walking away from a pre-release at a halfway house. 

Police believe that he is armed and dangerous and if spotted should not be approached.
