CRANSTON, RI- Three 'Olivia Culpo Way' street signs have been stolen.

They were put up on Albert Avenue, Saturday morning and were gone by Sunday morning.

The signs honor Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo, who grew up on that street.

Neighbors say they didn't hear or see when they were taken, but are disappointed they disappeared so quickly.

Each sign is worth $65.

During Saturday's dedication ceremony, Olivia thanked the city for the honor. Today, her mother, Susan Culpo she says the family is saddened by the theft and they hope the signs are returned.

DPW says all it took was a small allen wrench to remove the signs.

The city says they will replace those signs, but might have to rethink that if it happens again.
