From weeds in Pawtucket to lawns in Coventry, Rhode Island communities are cracking down on unruly landscapes. Monday night officials in Coventry passed an ordinance requiring residents to mow their lawns.
If the grass gets to be 12 inches, or longer, you'll be issued a citation after 10 days. If the lawn still isn't mowed, the town plans to send DPW crews over to the home to cut it for the resident.
Last week Pawtucket striated cracking down on sidewalks slapping homeowners with a bill.
