An iconic mansion in Newport sold for fourteen million dollars on Tuesday.
Wildacre estate was sold by the Campbell Soup heiress Dorrance Hamilton to an unknown buyer listed as Ocean 310 LLC
The 14-room eight thousand square foot mansion was initially put on the market in September 2012 for $15.75 million.
It was built back in 1902 for Albert Olmstead, the brother of the architect credited for the design of New York's Central Park. Olmstead also helped design the estate.
