Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley announced her run for Governor in 2014 on Monday.
60-year-old Coakley made the announcement via YouTube and then officially kick off the campaign with a visit to 18 different Massachusetts cities.
In 2010 Coakley who was initially projected to be the front runner lost in the special senate race to replace the late Ted Kennedy to former U.S. Senator Scott Brown.
Coakley will be the seventh declared candidate in the race. Currently Democrats Steve Grossman, Joseph Avellon, Donald Berwick, Juliette Kayyem and Republican Charlie Baker have announced their intentions to run.
