A homeless man in Massachusetts was honored for an incredibly good deed. He stumbled upon $42,000 dollars and returned all of it.
Glen James was awarded a special citation today by the Boston police department.
He was outside a TJ Maxx store on Saturday night when he found a backpack filled with $2400 dollars in cash, nearly $40,000 dollars in traveler's checks and a passport.
He handed it to police who returned it to the rightful owner.
At Monday's ceremony James said even if he were desperate for the money he wouldn't have kept it because God has always looked after him.
Good Samaritans on the Internet are also looking after James. There's an online fundraiser on http://www.gofundme.com/4by2as with a goal to raise $50,000 for James.
