A raging 3-alarm fire in a Woonsocket home has displaced 14 people and injured 2 fire fighters.

This 4-story home on South Main Street went up in flames just before noon on Sunday. Crews were on the scene within minutes as heavy smoke and flames ripped through the building.

Luckily no one who lived in the home was injured, thanks to the efforts of fire fighters and one heroic neighbor. He ran inside the burning home to save a dozen people who were still inside.

2 fire fighters were injured in the incident; 1 will remain overnight at Landmark Hospital in stable condition, and the other is expected to be okay. 3 other fire fighters were treated for smoke inhalation.

Woonsocket and State Fire Marshals are on the scene investigating the cause of the fire. There is no word yet as to where or how it may have started.

ABC 6 will have more details Sunday at 6:30 and 11:00.
