Craig Price, tarnished murder, has been denied a contempt sentence which has increased his prison term.

Price was 15-years old in 1989 when he admitted to killing his Warrick neighbor and her young daughters.

He had also confessed to being the murderer of an unsolved case two years prior.

Price was scheduled to be released at the age of 21, but multiple offenses while in prison have kept him behind bars.

One of the offenses was rejecting psychiatric counseling, which earned him the 25-year sentence.

Price retaliated by challenging the sentence in the state Supreme Court in 2011, but was rejected.

Price continued to fight his sentence by going to the federal courts.

He was denied by U.S. District Judge William Smith on Wednesday, Smith said his sentence was practical.
