Seekonk schools warn parents, students of suspicious woman

Seekonk Public Schools are warning students and parents of a woman in her 60's who approached a student outside of a school and tried to get the student to get in her car.

The incident happened on October 8th when the woman who is believed to be in her early 60's with long gray hair approached a female student. She was driving a dark blue car at the time.

The student was unharmed and went home where she reported the incident to her parents. Police were notified and a report was filed.

The Superintendent of Seekonk Schools Arlene Bosco is warning parents and students to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to the police. Faculty and staff at the schools have also been notified.
