A man suspected of breaking into three homes in Taunton and making unwanted contact with female occupants before taking off with valuables has been arrested.

Taunton Police say they arrested 43-year-old Miguel Erickson on Saturday. Erickson is accused of breaking into homes on Winthrop, Barnum, and Clinton Streets. In each break-in a woman occupant was groped by the man, in one case the woman was sexually assaulted.

Erickson lives on Winthrop Street, just blocks away from the homes he is accused of breaking into. During a search of Erickson's home police uncovered items connecting him to the three break-ins.

He is currently being held on $500,000 bail at the Bristol County House of Correction. He is scheduled to appear in court on Tuesday morning.
