RISPCA to host "almost free" rabies clinic

The Rhode Island Society for Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is hosting an "almost free rabies clinic on October 26.

Anyone who brings their pet and five can goods (human food) to the RISPCA at 186 Amaral Street in East Providence between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. can receive a free rabies vaccination for their cat, dog, or ferret.

People interested in the "almost free rabies clinic" are asked to bring past rabies certificates if possible.

All donated food items will be donated to the food bank at Operation Stand Down Rhode Island to benefit homeless veterans.
